Birthday month has started whee~. My family's really spread out, so I end up having a different little party with a couple different people every weekend. Which means a hella lot of cake :(

Also I ended up being the bartender at my cousin's engagement party last night, which happened to be very illegal considering I'm three years under the drinking age. It was actually really fun and I was pretty good at it. But I smelled like vodka and beer all night. LE SIGH.

I was feeling really down last night, so I sit down on the couch at nearly midnight, all alone, with a hot chocolate and what does my cat do? He jumps on the couch, lays down next to me, and puts his paw on my hand. Well I nearly started crying because my cat never does anything except eat and sleep and run around the house like he's crazy, let alone sit on the same furniture as someone else and let them pet him.

So I can honestly say for the first time ever that my cat is more than just an annoying blob of fur and fat.

Yesterday was a horrible day :(

-Slipped and fell on the driveway. Got coated in snow with no time to change, so my skirt was wet pretty much alllllll day. Plus I bruised my hip.
-Got my shirt caught on a nail and ended up with a three inch tear in it. I'm out of white thread so I can't even fix it.
-Ended up getting a waaaaaaaay lower mark than expected on my English mid-term
-I lost one of my favorite gloves :(

Apparently I'm head of the Zambia pavillion at our culture show now too, which isn't that bad (get to miss a day and a half of classes~) except that I have to have everything organized in two weeks. Whatever it'll be fun.

Taking a day off today because really, fuck the flu.

My history teacher keeps claiming that the Japanese empire during WW II was the biggest in history. But...it's not. Britain's was way bigger. 5 times bigger, in fact. It is bothering the hell out of me, but I don't exactly want to call him out on it. He's such a great teacher, but if he says it again, I'll go insane.

I pay too much attention to the little things that don't matter, and not enough to the things that do. I don't know. My current method's served me pretty well so far, but I've got a feeling it's gonna bite me in the ass soon.

Also, not being stalked anymore. She sent me an angry email, gave me back the birthday present I bought her, and I haven't seen her since. Ah, well. Now I want to talk to her, just to explain things. I don't want her to hate me so much as I want her to back off a bit. I guess it's better this way.

I have two projects due tomorrow, and I haven't started either of them. This will turn out well.

So, one of my ex-friends is...stalking me? Yeah.

For the past three days, she has showed up after every one of my classes, followed me to the next class, then entered that class, and proceeded to annoy the hell out of me until the bell rang or the teacher told her to go to her own class. She finds me at lunch and follows me around unless I end up in a pack with more than three people. Yesterday she managed to get written permission to leave her own class, and sit in on mine. She sat across the room and took the same test we did, for absolutely no reason. She managed to nearly do the same thing today by asking for the results of the test, but I know she really didn't care because the test didn't even count towards any of her marks. I don't even know how she managed to get my schedule. I've asked around, but no one who knows my schedule has had her ask them.

She said that she's going to keep following me until we're friends again. Now, after we had our falling out, we exchanged a few emails and as far as I could tell we had parted on good terms. I told her that I had no desire to be friends anymore. That was three months ago.

I don't really want to go yelling and crying to a teacher, especially since the only ones who could do anything would just have us in a big pow-wow so that we could 'express our feelings.' Still, if this is still going on by Friday, I'm gonna have to do something.
